7th Grade Band is usually comprised of students who have completed 6th Grade Band. For the 2021-22 school year, students are able to join band even if they haven't completed 6th grade band. Class meets as one full band (as opposed to like-instrument classes in 6th Grade). Fundamental skills are reviewed and built upon to increase the student's proficiency on their chosen instrument. Students are expected to practice at home to reinforce the skills learned in class, and will be quizzed periodically to assess those skills. There may be up to four performances outside of the school day that students are expected to participate in, and that schedule will be made available as soon as possible.
